I love to teach —and specifically, I love to teach and play the piano.  My ultimate goal as a teacher is to assist others in allowing music to be a means of wholeness.  By that I mean expressing themselves using the body, mind and soul.  Rewards run deep in this process for the student, and for me as a teacher, to witness this growth is pretty wonderful.  For the student, being able to bring every part of themselves to the piano results in the creation of beauty and pleasure.  And the benefits go beyond Music:  I think that musical study helps one gain strength and perseverance that will make a difference throughout their life, no matter what type of career is chosen.
